How to delete your Instagram account permanently, or temporarily deactivate it? It is a general question that is everyone asking about. The answer to this question is, yes. It's possible to delete your Instagram account, but kindly remember that deleted accounts cannot be recovered or reactivated for reuse again in the future. If an account is deleted all the posts, likes comments and followers, posts will also be lost. If you want to use your Instagram account later then I will suggest you disable your account.

Instagram is a Facebook-owned company and is a very popular social media platform. But, sometimes you decide to deactivate or delete the account.

How to delete your Instagram account 

1. You cannot delete your Instagram account using the mobile app. You have to your web browser on desktop or mobile, log into your account by entering your username and password. 

2. After logged in, go to the page of account deletion.

3. From the drop-down menu, choose the reason for your account deletion. There is a range of choices you can select. But, if there is no such option that fits you, then you can select “something else”.

4. After selecting your reason for deleting, simply click on "Permanently delete my account." 

Here, If you want to disable your account, then you will log in on the web into your Instagram account, click on "Edit profile" on your profile, and select "Temporarily disable my account" on the next page. 

You will select the reason for deactivating your Instagram account. Whenever you want to reactivate your account, just log into your Instagram account as normal.
